Pakalana lei

Pakalana - Chinese Violet 

These were introduced by the Chinese and thrive in our islands. It's one of our favorite flowers because of its subtle gorgeous floral scent and vibrant yellow green heart-like shaped petals with pointed tips. This beautiful flower grows in clusters on a wooly vine and blossoms in the summer. It makes a beautiful lei for all to adore and admire.
